The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Tribute to my friend who passed away last Saturday . One of our last sunsets together taken in the White Sands National Monument (New Mexico). He was a 1x member as well (Robert Thomson) and introduced me to 1x, five years ago ;-) He was not very active on the site but was a tremendous help for me to proof many of the "Photographer of the week" interviews.
